Cairns Eisteddfod’s success in encouraging and supporting the Performing Arts owes much to its highly valued pool of volunteers. Volunteering for Cairns Eisteddfod is a great way to learn new skills, meet likeminded people who also share a passion for the performing arts or as a way to simply give back to the community.

Eisteddfod is a non-for-profit organization formed to bring together people in the community and gives them the opportunity to express themselves through art.

Whether you are a student requiring practical experience in Performing Arts management, a parent with an interest in the Arts, an organisation with a community service program for your staff, or even a retiree looking for something different and fun to do with like-minded people, we have roles in all categories – Dance, Vocal Solos & Choirs, Instrumental Solos & Groups and Speech & Drama. We brief you about your assigned roles, we work closely with you to help you feel comfortable, and we do our best to ensure that you enjoy your time with us.
